WOMEN OR COMMODITIES?
I AM NOT ANY ‘-IST’
NOT A FEMINIST NOT A MISANDRIST NOT A MISOGYNIST
Why it is always w/o (wife of) for women in the application forms? Can’t she be just the name she is? Is she a commodity of a man? I don’t understand this.
Now all the men (in Pakistan) would be so overwhelmed with masculine superiority after reading this, and would be yelping about, “ha…it is also called s/o (son of) on the forms, NIC and passport: we don’t complain.” And they would be raising their one eyebrow comically, which would be lifting the side of their lip due to the pull in the skin caused by the raising brow, and smirking, puffing “phuf phuf…” from mouth to plant gestural comments on ‘feminism’ “Here’s another feminist.” (Although this has nothing to do with feminism.
Hold on pleae, wait here.
Frankly speaking, I am neither a feminist, nor misandrist or misogynist. I am just a simple woman having questions about the programing of minds of general societies. I can never say that men and women are equal. I believe that since men have more physical power, they should be doing the field work like lifting heavy objects, fixing cars, placing brick, standing on cranes in the sun etc. Whereas, women have more mental strength and are multi-taskers; they should be doing indoor work, such as being CEO’s. (Now, see if Trump would be doing ‘field work’, things would be much different.)
PLEASE NOTE that I like men. I like them superior. I like them taking care of their women and providing them financial freedom to live a comfortable life. And I DO NOT wish it to change.
BUT…
When did it become the ‘norm’ to relate women to their men as objects but not men to their women? Was it at the beginning of the human kind? Was it then? If yes, then at that time, didn’t they live in caves and men hunted all day and women made the fire and fed babies?
The ‘NORM’ was placed, eh?
Question is, do we still live the same lifestyle? No? then why the same ‘norm’?
Just a question…No offense.
