There were times, when my senses of decency and discipline were injured every day when I mounted my car on the roads of commotion. I suffered, suffered and suffered, and one day I got up to embrace the fact that the world of perfection, where I live in, only exist in my brain. Here people have contradiction with me. They say that’s not the real world, this is the real world. With me the scenario is, of course, vice versa.
I live in Karachi, which has become a dodging car ring; the difference is that the cars don’t intentionally bump. For you, this game is not optional; whether you approve of it or not, you are in it! My advice…….. crying about it will give you wrinkles, stress related problems, and will shorten your life, so, enjoy it! (at least this is what I do now.)

However, I don’t know why people don’t accept road traffic as a sport. To call some activity sport, what are the requirements? Physical activity, mental alertness, enthusiasm, gadget, rules and a player; well this has it all. On the top, you don’t need to have a certificate to be a professional of the game, or even experience, just follow the simple rules.

Rule number one, the person in the car and outside, both are in the game.
Rule number two, don’t follow the traffic rules or there’s no fun.
Rule number three, don’t complain about others, save your own a**.
On the other hand, everyone on the road is in hurry; the drivers, the pedestrians, the birds, the cats…
A driver, seemingly at a reasonable speed, will always raise the speed when someone on the sidewalk lifts a foot. A pedestrian will always jump on the road when car is overhead. A crow will always dive low right in front of you when you are peacefully enjoying a cool song on the smooth speed of 70. A cat will always cross your car hurriedly from nowhere when you look in the side mirror to see if someone is tailing you.
Everyone rushes…….it’s a busy city, they say.
