And here our technology moves a step upward and delivers us Google Glass.  There is nothing wrong with advancement in captivating technological race as long as it supplies us the benefits without harm. When technology becomes the cause of social tribulation, measures should be taken to avoid it becoming cancer of communal environment.
Social networking sites have already generated tumultuous digital war originating from the omnipresence of smart phones. Privacy of every common and elite has been breached making them vulnerable in the hands of antagonists of this Shakespeare’s stage.
Recent advent of Google Glass is being optimistically promoted in pre-launch campaigns to enslave minds into entering the dungeon of relentless chaos. Once again the inventor has ignored the negative implications of this gadget on society in greed of the mint. World should advance in technology but it should advance keeping protection of members of society as priority.
For past few years, people are suffering with exposure of their privacy on internet through their unwanted indecent pictures, videos etc. Once private gatherings and private invite-only parties are now public on internet or someone’s personal archive. A couple engaging in ear whispering on a bench in a public place quickly becomes an image on an erotic poster on internet, and goes viral on facebook .  Nobody these days knows when his or her picture will be taken and where it will be seen.
Google Glass is even more advance and swiftly expeditious. It can record your statement, make high definition video and take pictures on the go. So far in its rudimentary stage, it can be spotted, and as it becomes a toy of commoner, it may be restricted in premises just like phones but soon, considering the rapidness of evolution, it will be in shape of a contact lens consequently making it impossible to leash.
Although most of the people are in its favour, I find it harmful.  There has to be a better way to implement technology. Holographic computers in shape of a wrist watch might be awe-inspiring. It is understandable that people may comment Google Glass’s excellent use on travel during vacations, I agree to this as well but haven’t we been able to capture those moments successfully and unperturbedly already?
While favouring this gadget, one should think carefully as you can be the victim of someone’s nasty scheme who is using the same gadget for his pleasure too. Your pleasure might not be harmful to others if you are a decent member of society but there is no guarantee that the person next to you holds the same level of decency.
When Dave Meinert, an owner of the 5 Point Bar and Café in Seatle Washinton banned the Glass in his café, I got to thinking that places like this should take the same step in protecting us. He is right; you have to understand the culture of this café. “People want to go there and be not known … and definitely don’t want to be secretly filmed or videotaped and immediately put on the Internet,” he said. “We don’t let people film other people or take photos unwanted of people in the bar, because it is kind of a private place that people go.”

Restaurants, cafes, clubs, malls, parks and respective public places should follow his food steps for their and others protection from technological invasion in their privacy.
Banning Google Glass doesn’t mean going against the splendidly advance era; it is just to protect ourselves to be victim of its cancerous effects. I am sure there are advantages of this gadget too but if cons outnumber pros then there has to be another better harmless development. I am sure these genius minds are capable of creating better.
Just remember that the worst fear of a human is to be watched at all times.
